Built on the very popular ol Bobber Jacket frame with similar sizing. This has taken what works with that jacket and improved on it!
The light brown stitching and light brown leather accents compliments the distressed brown leather nicely.
Key differences between the 2 jackets:
- Added the 'action back' pleat - helps with reaching out to the handlebars and reduces the sleeve moving up the arm.
- Improved wrist fastening, more intuitive and easier on the fly.
- More zippable air vents! (6 vs 2 on the ol Bobber)

Motorcycle Jacket Sizing Guide:
Below is the sizing guide. I've done this a little different to how most sizing guides are done. Instead of giving a sizing like 32, 34, 36, etc I have given the actual size of the jacket so you can pick the one that best suits you.
The main measurement is the chest measurement.
1) You want to take your own chest measurement (under the armpits at the widest part)
2) Then add a minimumof 14cm to that measurement then choose from the below table. If you want a more relaxed fit or you typically ride with more layers underneath add another 2-4cm then choose from the below.
The measurements on the website are the actual size of the exterior of the jacket so you need some extra room to move and breath etc and 14cm is about the sweet spot for giving enough space to move but without making it baggy.

If the way I've done this size guide is confusing as hell and I should do it like everyone let me know and I'll do that.
I totally get buying a jacket or glove online can involve a bit of risk when it comes to sizing etc so I am more than happy to do a size swap or return if you want (provided it's still in the same condition it got sent to you in).

Black Pup Moto was born because I could never find quite what I wanted. I wanted gear that matched the more classic/cafe racer style of bikes I liked.
Created to suit classic, cafe racer, bobber or whatever you wish! Well suited to Triumph, Royal Enfield, Harley Davidson etc.
The fit is pretty much perfect.
The sizing method just works.
The warm winter liner does make it perhaps ever so slightly “snug” (no draughts!) when worn with a polo shirt and thin fleece but it’s still very comfortable - and it’s not even yet "worn in” or slightly stretched (as all leather jackets do over time).
Without the warm liner it’s absolutely perfect for me now we are getting warmer weather - and I love all the cooling vents and the wrist pocket.
The quality is really excellent and the distressed look means its doesn’t look too new either - a bonus.
There has obviously been a lot of thought put into every aspect of the jacket design - and it really shows.
The back and arm length is superb, and I’m definitely not likely to “moon” anyone with my "builders bum…” - thankfully.
Just right.
The soft collar to stop “leather chafe” at the neck is just one of many outstanding features, with the armour being effective but not bulky (in exactly the right place too) as another.
Sleeve fitment is very good for me indeed, and the pleats in the shoulder really work with my arms/chest size.
Quality zips and a tough big inner pocket all add to that high quality feel throughout.
The handy sleeve pocket is ideal for toll bridge change too…

This is a serious piece of kit. It weighs about 3kg but is very comfortable. The leather is thick but supple. The stitching, zips, colour etc is all perfect. I have a 110cm chest (and belly) so that put me in the XL size and it fits great. The armour feels substantial but you don't really feel it when wearing it. Now I look cool on my bike.
